Greg Gorman has said that what he wanted to capture permanently in pictures is the boy/man, not the muscular, beefy type nor the pre-pubescent, skinny little kid, but someone in-between, with a lean, supple, and clean-shaven body, regardless of his age. Many of the boy/men in this collection are in their late-teens or twenties, but someone like Christopher Atkins is in his forties yet still has the "Blue Lagoon" good looks and physique that catapulted him to international stardom. For Gorman, the boy/man is the epitome of everything that makes the male specimen simply irresistible. By his own admission, Greg Gorman considers this to be his best collection thus far. Copies of the First Trade Edition have been out-of-print for a long time, are now difficult to find, and have increased in value. Copies of this Deluxe Edition sold out some time ago, and the print is sold on its own for between $850 and $1000.
